i don't have any glare really but i also have eyebrow(sticker across the windshield) so i don't get as much sunlight on the dash where it is painted i didn't paint the back part of my dash the the part that goes around the gauges and a/c controls

I am looking to do the same thing as tibbyguy99, exept i want to do it myself, basicly i know nothing, getting the stuff off shouldnt be a problem, ill worry about putting it on later, but for what paint, do i need to sand, clear coat and wtf is primer, so basicly i know nothing so any advice would help me out lots. Thanks

i was in the same boat as you. i pretty much combined what they told me in that thread and what the directions were on the cans i got. i got duplicolor everything, from walmart. cost me about 37 bucks for everything, and i have a lot of paint and sandpaper left over.

i think i used in total two cans of primer, two cans of clear, three cans of paint, two cans of "clear top coat" and i got one or two cans of this "primer sealer" stuff. its supposed to help the paint stick better or something. all duplicolor though.

then right next to all the duplicolor stuff, they had automotive wet-or-dry sandpaper. i picked up some 320, 400, and 1000 i think. folow the cans for what grit to use when.
