What could it be? If the crimping was bad, it wouldn't work once and then not work again would it? I crimped it the best I could. I'm not professional, but I can crimp all right. (I guess)

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the wires, I f*** up everything.

if the crimp is bad, it could be the slightest vibrations that cause the connections to turn from good to bad.

Like Tibby01 says.If your crimps are bad,you should be able to jiggle the wires and have it cut off/on.

It could be the xformer. There are more electronics in there then just a xformer. You also have a DC-DC power supply, since a xformer can not pass DC current thru it and DC is what you get from the batt. So,there has to be a power supply to convert DC to AC,then rail the voltage/frequency up from there.

Maybe you didn't want to know that much about it, but I wanted to make sure it's understood that there's a little more going on in there. So,yeah, check the crimps and see if you can make the light cut on/off.If not, then you probably have a dead xformer.

*DOUBLE POSTS OWN ME!!!*

Oh.....................you might also have a problem with the dimmer.I'm on like my 3rd one. They are pretty sensitive.Make sure you do not connect the switch when the parking/headlights are on.You'll zap that thing real quick!!

Just for arguements sake, 02.gif say I did connect it while it was on, would it never work again, because I did connect it while the lights were on.
