Were you looking for a sub that was in excess of 800W RMS or MAX power?? Was your amplifier putting out 1200 W RMS or MAX?

I'd go for Type Rs...but Im guessing they're expensive. All I know is those are what I want when I get my system going.

I was just wondering why your sub HAS to be able to handle at least 800w. I mean for the budget of 100 dollars i think you could get a better quality sub, like a JL, that can still hit hard with less power. Your not gonna find a jl that handles 800w for 100 dollars but you knowany JLs gonna last you a couple years in a sealed box. Thats just my opinion and im sure you have a reason for needing the 800w handling. Just throwin an idea out there.

As far as the amp.. its a 1200 amp..

The pioneer 800watt subs couldint last.. so i wanna try something different..

I dont want something expensive, cause it goes against my cars purpose..
lol

So i wanna stick to the 100 area..
