So any recommendations?
Its xmas right now, so whats the best bang for the buck?
I need something in excess of 800 watts..
My 12 was a pioneer 800 watt sub...

If you like Pioneer (I do) you could use these:

Honestly-- look at the prices youre looking for... Personally, if youre looking in the 4-500 range, personally I chose the Image Dynamics IDMAX and think the WORLD of it. For a budget-- i like the Kicker CVR they seem to hit quite well and i can get them for around 50-60 each. Other than that-- Audiobahn (im not a fan at all) has the Sound Q line which i thought the world of (but i only owned them for around 1-2 months)...
Ive never been a RF fan especially with their new Audiobahn-esque lines which you pay for the look and not the sound, and im not a big fan of Pioneer other than their HU...
BTW-- the IDMAX is 1000WRMS each... just an idea.

i wish you guys would include prices...
i was hoping to find a 12" in the 100 dollar range..
something 800 watts or more...
i have a 1200 watt supplying them juice...

I'd go for Type Rs...but Im guessing they're expensive. All I know is those are what I want when I get my system going.
heh, speaking of subs, ever figure out how to ship that sub box to me? lol.gif

I have infinity 12's in a sealed box. Mine are just reference series, and I love them, they hit perfectly clear, no distortion at all, no matter what volume I'm listening to it at. Infinity makes better speakers called perfects, they are really nice smile.gif I'd wait for MADTIBS's advice smile.gif He knows a lot about this kinda stuffs smile.gif...
On onlinecarstereo.com Infinity has a 12 that is 300 RMS 1200 MAX for 130.00, shrugs. Lets see..You can get an Alpine Type R 12" 300 RMS 1000 Max for 135.00(on sale atm), or...The JL w6 will be expensive...it is 120 for a 12w0(125 watts rms), up to 600 for a 12w7(750 RMS 1500 Max...this is an SPL sub though, so unless you are competing do you really NEED that one? *shrugs*
