I did not sand the color. Only the primer and clear. You don't have to do all of that. It just depends on how good you want it to look I guess.
Ok thanks man - you guys rule - this is gonna be my first thing done to my Tibby so lets see how it comes out - I'll put a pic up so you guys can see.
Do you know anyother things that are possible to paint? (i.e. panels in the back seat?)(if there are any)
Also are there any other projects like this that can be done you guys know of?

If you can pull it out... and the paint wont damage/eat it... then it can be painted, I painted my speaker covers in the back along with the clips on the "oh shit" handle and the hanger hooks in the back roofing. I pulled out the overhead console (where the dome lights are) painted that, the hooks that hold the corners of the sun visors (where they can be pulled off, you know?) After that... you can paint your valve cover... you calipers... skys the limit!! Just use your imagination and be sure that the paint is safe for the parts. By that I mean, make sure its not gonna eat the plastic or just burn off in a high heat area... smile.gif
Wow thats nice - I'm gonna do all that then over the next two months
New Question: I also wanna install LED lights in all lighting area.....is this as simple as just screwin off where ever the lights are and jsut replaicn the bulbs or is there a chance of screwing a bunch of stuff up?

heh... ummm... I missread that.. Yes LEDs are as simple to install as replacing out the OEM bulbs.
I thought you may have been talking about LEDs into your speedometer and in your doorhandles and changing the colors of your dials! LOL
Sorry my fault, I cant read sometimes... oops.gif
