A friend gave me these, you know those arrows that stick on your side view mirrors and blink with your turn signal. I've seen em on luxury cars and SUV's and thought they'd look nice on the tib. They came with two clear arrows that just stick on the mirror and each has a pos. and neg. wire.
I need help installing these?
Anyone know how to get wires behind mirror and through door to into cabin?
Also, what wire would the pos. coming from the arrows need to tap into?
I don't know where the turn signal wires are (I think they come out of the back of the hazard button when you take off the dash? Not sure tho)
Where could I find this information (i.e What wires are which, etc.)
If I install em I'll take pics and write up a DIY.
My friend said they're relatively cheap, like 20 bucks. If all works out it's a good mod for your money in my books.

ok, there are two locations you can do this...
coming out of the hazard switch, there are two green/white wires. the power wire for the left turn signal is one of them. whichever one makes more logical sense to be wire #10 coming off of the hazard switch. green/white #2 wire is the one you DONT want. the plain green wire is the power wire for the right turn signal. if the green wire turns out to be a little bigger than most, then look for the left TS power wire to be similiarly sized. just make a ground anywhere on the chassis for the negative wires.
looking at this picture, the power for the RTS will be pin number 12 and the LTS will be #13 on harness 101-2....

the ground also turns out to b #14 on 101-2 if you want to use that, but anywhere you can find ground would be okay.
to get the wires through, pop off the little triangular panel on the door, and just look around. it shouldnt be to hard. wink.gif
