Default 11-28-04 Desktops

anybody have any clue of how to remove the dash pad? i almost got mine off but the mechanism that turns the actual speedo wont come off

webtech was no help

any ideas?

The speedometer is electric, no cable. If you go to webtech under Body, Console & Interior Trim, Crash Pad, it gives good instructions. When I pulled mine the only thing I missed the first time was the heater control cable.

won't bring up webtech?? make sure your using ie, webtech won't work on any other browsers. also check for spyware, it will often cause browsers to do crasy stuff laugh.gif

I got it off today i had to loosen the speedo cable on the tranny

the dash is finally off now only took me like 4 hours to do(ugh)
time to try and trace down the melted wires evil.gif

well i think i found the wires that are bad a tech at my work hooked up a ohm meter to my rheostat wires and all went to ground....time to trace and find

hehe this all started cuz i was bored yesterday
