Bryce, don't quote the post directly above yours man. Use the ADD REPLY at the bottom of the page if you don't want to quote.

E-bay.... go with cwithk (or something along those lines). Look in the sticky of known good e-bay sellers. Both Tibby01 and myself recommend him for LED's. He will give you the resistors you need too. Just ensure each LED has a resistor attached to it and you will be fine.

LEDs have a + and a - side... you CAN hook them up backwards and they will not work.

For wire... you can get that at radio shack. 18-22 guage should be good

wow, where do i start? lol

well, for just bare leds, buy from a guy by the name of cwithk on ebay. enter his name in the search box and click on search in titles and descriptions. give you the correct resistors for 12v too, free.

lsdiodes is a good place stateside for leds as well.

for pre-made leds that usually come with resistors in them, go to www.superbrightleds.com

for an explanation of wiring leds, you can check out www.the12volt.com. they have a little explanation there.

i get my wire from www.atexelectronics.com/ or www.allelectronics.com, along with a bunch of other stuff. you will obviously need a soldering gun, solder, electric tape, and its a good idea to have heat shrink too.

also, ebay is great for buying little electrical components in bulk.

thats about all i guess. you will prolly learn better if you just ask a question when you arise at a problem. you do learn better from your mistakes after all.
