oops.. I did that once.. I stopped to wash my car before going to a funeral because the car was FILTHY and I knew I would be going to the bural as well.. I left the car running and without even thinking, locked the door as I got out. So.. there I am, in a dark and somber suit, with a running car, and no way to get in. The guys at the car wash place got her open for me with little effort.. And they did not accept the twenty I wanted to give them.

That's OK, I locked my keys in my old car while I was pumping gas. I left my keys in my car because I always pay at the pump. While pumping, I decided to get something to drink, so I opened the door, hit the power locks and went in to pay. Came out and couldn't find my keys, looked through the window and there they were. Boy was I embarrased.

This is the reason I keep a spare key in my wallet.

Yes, this is a good investment:

http://www.sharkracing.com/acc/hyundai/cardkey.html

It didn't take that long, only like 2 weeks to get, but yeah I still have one card that hasn't been cut.
'course I've never used it for emergency purposes, only times I've used it was to start my car last winter, and have my normal key to lock and open the car when I'm ready to get back in.
Now I just use my CompuStar lol.gif laugh.gif
But I still have it, JUST IN CASE I make a dumbass move like leave my remote on my seat or drop it in the car somewhere, cuz it auto locks and arms once you close the doors. wink.gif [/img]

Hopefully you can still get the card key now that Shark Racing has moved back to Korea.

I have learnt to unlock the passenger door before getting out - when i know that my keys are in the car.
Incase I accidently lock the door as i shut it out of habbit, i can still get in through the passenger door laugh.gif.

You have to admit.. the way the locking mechanism is designed on the tib.. it is VERY easy to just open the door and flip the lock in one fluid motion. I am not even aware that I do it anymore.
