Trying to finish the front speakers but cant get the wire inside of cabin.I've tried to get thew the door gramet and into the cabin but no luck.Can anyone help out here and give some pointers.Is there any special tricks on doing this.

Anybody near columbus wanna give me a hand.

 

ive done it on the tib. i had to kind of cut away a bit of the plug area in order to get it to fit. i ran 2 sets of 12 gauge speaker wire through. not fun at all

 

why not try something smaller like 16?

 

Any wire you use will be the same, it's a complete PIG to do.

What I did was remove the plastic A panels from the kicks and then put your hand into the small hole (lots of cuts and blood doing this) You'll see that there is a white plug each side of the panel, one side can be seen from inside that hole and the other from the outside (insude the door jam).

You have to pull off the rubber boot (difficulty 7/10) and then undo the white plugs (8/10) and then drill a small hole in the white thing and run the wire through that.

Overall the job is about 9/10 for difficulty and it took me all day to get the 2 wires into the doors going through the rubber.

 

wires done fing02.gif.This was a b**** and i'm never doin this again.Hopefully the car will be done by sunday afternoon.I'm taking my sweet time and running wires to where the can hardly be seen.Right now i'm taking a break and drinking a monster getting ready to go back out and run my last set of rca plugs and almost all major wireing should be done except for cap charging,and final wires ran to amps.Thanks for telling me about the boot my brother came over and showed it to me and it cut time in half trying to get thew with that boot on impossible if you ask me.
