here they r at night before i changed the colors of the needles. i got them off of bay for like 25 bucks. they switch between blue and green, with a dial for brightness. they required some modification for my second gen, but ive heard that they fit fine on a first gen fine.

they r the stock ones. to do it take the needles off. u will see two plastic studs holding the cover to the underside of the needle on. i just picked at them with pliers untill the cover came off, exposing the entire needle. get a rag and some meguire's scratch-x. rub that stuff on the needles and it will take the red paint off. it will take a while, but it gets them crystal clear. i then put metallic blue paint in place of the red paint, put the needle assembly back together, and superglued the studs that were picked out earlier. when i did this i replaced my bulbs with led blue bulbs, so i dont know if they shine bright with regular bulbs. my temp. guage needle shines great, and when i get some time i can hopefully make the other ones shine as good. ill post a pic tonight if i can.

Can you PM me with the seller you bought these from? I know some sellers send you something totally different. Also, do you have to remove the stock gauge faces, or do they slip over the originals? I found these on ebay and they say they are for 99-01, you said they work well on first gens right?

they do look nice, check out my sig, i took my stock ones off (fit better). The needles look good too, i was waiting for blacktibs to finish his, but i have more leds to put in back there and might go your route when i take the dash apart again (when i get my haloz from blacktibs) My leds are red and i might try going clear with red backlighting, and if that doesn't look good i might just go with a bright silver.

i also need to take my temp and gas gauge off b/c the gas needle doesn't work. I probably put too much tail lamp repair tape behind it. the reason for the tape was b/c if you take the stock gauges off you don't have any color behind the warning lights and turns. it looks awesome with the tape at night but i shouldn't need it around my gas needle anymore b/c that where the new leds are going in.

will post pics of my gauges tomorrow am
