knocked this off the list. avic-d3. i prefer the iphone touch screen anyday but it does the job. gps and program could be a bit better (dvd required rolleyes.gif) but its fun and does the job. the screen also dims into night mode. sound quality is incredible even with the stock speakers. overall i'm satisfied and it's exactly what i dreamt it up to be.

thanks! sorry for the crappy phone pictures though. notice it's a 2001 spec din. came out to be almost an exact replica of the 1997. my goal was to get it looking like it's all stock. it's also in the perfect place.

im not fan of double DIN because there isnt a way to hide it at night, i'm always worried about thieves. but alot of our members seem to have garages so its not a issue for them
