Actually, it's Interior & ICE. So, I moved this. Radio stuff goes under ICE.
Still have the stock antenna? Stock antenna's tend to have better reception than aftermarket antennas. Is this a stock radio? Did you install it yourself if it's aftermarket? If it's aftermarket how was the signal with the stock one? What kind is it? If it's aftermarket and you installed it yourself did you try unplugging and replugging in the antenna cord?<---That's all it took for me. Even if a professional did the install... did you try unplugging and replugging in the antenna cord? What other components do you have to your sound system? Any amps? Are the signal/power wires running next to the antenna cord?

i suggest you go to hd radio. 90% of radio stations are already broadcasting, and soon everyone will be. the things are cheap too, and integrate into CARPCS with the lovely people that wrote skins for them.

ill probably be switching to XM or SERIOUS sat radio, but for now i dont wanna pay $12 a month when i listen to local radio in the morning.
i have a VR3 cheap walmart radio $75, but works just as well ,concerning reception, as my old pioneer, kenwood, and premier stereos. o and yes picked up the same as well.
i tried grounding it from the rear antenna mount but it got worse.
i had a stock mint antenna, tonite i just went out and bought one from walmart with a built in antenna amp, notice the diff at my house, but when i really had trouble was in town.

hd radio is free, and in most cases, is broadcasting your local radio. search for your station here:

Unless your pwr and antenna cables are bothin bad shape it will probably only clear up a little bit of static, but fixing it a little would be better than what you have now.
