Red 194s
yeah gen1 i saw your thread and decided to try since i want red and he said red was better then blue becauses its more visible when using the 194s
but im going to pick up some today, how many bulbs do i need to do the gauge cluster??

I'd say use the "SEARCH FUNCTION".
why? there are WAY better places to get them, better quality, for cheaper.

I dont' know if red LED bulbs will work because they tend to be more focused in one area then another. They have 2 times the ammount of light emitted fromthe sides then on the top. A standard bulb emits more on the top then the sides.
i just got back from autozone.. they do have the 194's.
i think these will work perfect for what your looking to do... i know for sure green looks nice... and red and green probably are similar in brightness.
