door panel removal?
Hey Guys! Me again! Hehe I tried searching and didnt find crap! I even tried on webtech and still nuthin does anyone know how i could remove the door panel? Also do all those pieces come off? or does everything have to be masked off?
this is probably one of the easiest things to do.
ok, go and get 2 screw drivers (1 of each) and a plastic baggy to put your screws in.
open the door and unscrew the 2 screws on the left side, the 3 screws on the bottom, the 2 screws on the right side by your vents, the 2 screws inside the door handle (use the flathead to pry the fake plastic show screws off so you can get to the real ones), and the 1 screw that is inside the handle you use to open the door (this one is visible).
now that all the screws are off, act like you are opening the door and remove that little panel that has the door handle/lock on it.
once you get that off, you should be able to pop your door panel off simply by pulling, once you get it off you will need to take out the courtesy light and the wires for the power windows/switches. once you get the wire clip out, you can pop the panel for those switches off pretty easily.
if you want to get to the vents in your door panel, once you get it removed you will have to firstly take off the little defrost vent at the top by removing once screw then sliding it off that little metal piece. after that you can remove the (about 6?) screws to take off the other vent's housing, then pop it off.
this really is simple, i'm sure you can do it even without my lil tutorial here....just unscrew everything and pop it off basically.
good luck.

There are pics of how to do it, one was posted here or on the old site, wish I would have copied it.
As for Webtech, it shows how to take the ENTIRE car apart, so yes, it is there. Saw it not too long ago.

Good lord!!!!!!! I keep telling people over and over,it is not necessary to remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the damn door panel!!! All those do is secure the map pocket to the door panel itself. They have NOTHING to do with securing the panel to the car.
