Yeah.. I noticed that too. sad.gif But, like I said, I'm not quite done w/ them yet.. but it really doesn't matter because you can't see the curve really when it's in the door, so mine were flat when I took the pictures, and they looked just fine. It's really up to you though. smile.gif

They don't sit flush, but they sit recessed a little bit. Which I really don't mind. wink.gif

To test how it will sit, just take a piece of cardboard or something and cut it to fit and put it in the hole, then you can see the fit of it. Or anything flat.

can i still continue this topic even if it's very old? so did everyone finish with their door light projects? I tried to pull that bulb out, but it wouldn't come. if i pull any harder, i'm afraid of cracking the bulb. what should i do? they are the same as the front parking lights right?

also, i tried to change the LED in my power window buttons. i took everything apart up to the point where I can see the LED bulb under the window button. But they don't come off. if i pull, won't i break it? how do u guys remove the 2 buttons? Thanks smile.gif

Holy DEAD POST batman! wink
As for the window LED switches:
http://www.spicycar.com/shop/club_qacont.p...num=9&qa_title=

You've got it to this point:

Well the reason why you can't just pull it up, is there is solder holding it down, take a soldering iron, heat 'er up and use a wick or soldering sucker to get the solder off. Then it should just pop off, there is a clip near the front, so pry it up from the back where the soldering joints were.

If you mean the actual bulb, then you kind of have to twist it one direction before you pull it out. If you're talking about the housing.. the red piece you see on the door, then you may have to take the door panel off.. I didn't, mine was somewhat broken already and always fell out wink And no, the bulbs are 194B's I think.. it's been a long time.. I still haven't finished.. I should wink Hope that helped.

oh i found out what i did wrong. you know on each side of the circuit board... there are 2 silver balls that LOOKS EXACTLY like solders (I Swear ) I removed those. who can read that instruction page in korea anyway tongue.gif

ya, i didn't need to take those out and if you did, your power windows button will go back on too deep and will malfunction. so just put the silver balls back and not lose them, or you can always solder a ball of similar size on there. damn the 2000mcd are damn bright, always on the corner of my eyes when driving at night!

I luv them

anybody try to put the blue bulbs behind the red lense making it purple? might look kinda cool if it wasn't a redish pinky purple. you could also make the lense out of clear plexi-glass then paint on a hyundai logo so that it glows when the light comes on.
