You mean the LEDs that light up the heater dial controls? The ones that Zorro is having made for us all? If so.. that would be kind of neat too.. So then for the doors, you only need 3 LEDs, right? Thanks again man

No not the heater controls, the AC and Air recirculation buttons below.
There are 2 LED lights that light up depending if you have the AC pushed on or not, or if you have the air to fresh or recirc. One LED for fresh and one for recirc (only on 1st gens, 2nd gens only has 1 LED for I think, recirc)
And yeah 3 LEDs for the doors, although you'll find lots of usage for them. I have them as my alarm indicators as well:

If you look on the A pillar, you will see one of them, I also have one on the other side. Notice how it lights up the steering wheel,... now imagine it being dark at night, it lights up the entire front seats when it's on! eek.gif

And if I get time this weekend, I'm ripping the dash apart to take a look at the buttons, and will also be adding an LED into the change holder thingy (yes the technical term) above the cup holder. I Think That would look kewl!

Oh, those buttons. I always forget I have those two buttons (AC and Air Recirc). Alright, thanks.
If you add many more LEDs to the inside of your car it's going to look like something funky from a distance in the dark. With it glowing blue and all wink.gif Thanks

Speaking of that change holder thingee... does anyone here have the stock AM/FM/CD deck rather than the cubbyhole? i'm thinking of getting the AM/FM/CD dash piece, but not sure if it's worth it for my project... Is that really a dual-DIN opening, or is it oddly shaped? Would I be able to stack two DIN-sized units in the stock (with CD) dashboard fascia?

KayJai - The ones I got came in a package of two bulbs.. They are made by Victor and are called Auto Bulbs MoodLights, the number on them is 194B. I picked them up at my local Schuck's Auto Supply (the smallest one in the city) so you should be able to find them no problem. Hope that helps wink.gif

Hmm I have some 194's but not 194B's wonder if they're the same,... I was gonna stick these behind the gauges to make them light up blue, and it does, but not very bright at all, kinda looks like pukey blue.
Hmm, now I can use them there,... Maybe,... I'll have to check, if not I guess I'll look for 194B then

Thanks! smile.gif

It's really simple, just take that red cover off, and pull the light out, there's no clips or anything, just pull and it comes out, then take the blue one and push it back in. Very easy to test. Basically what I did was I just pulled the stock light bulb from it out and went into Schuck's w/ it in my hand and held it up to other bulbs that looked similar till I found one that was about the same size, etc. Good Luck.. I'm sure 194's are the same thing, not sure though.

Hey Raithan:
I pulled out the red cover and the bulb,... and it looks like the 194's I got will fit,... but one question,... the original red covers are a little curved, and have some shape to them,... did you conpensate for that or did you just make the new ones flat?

Thanks
