Does bridging cause more harmonic distortion and current draw for a given impedance?
Does a amp running in bridged mono, at four ohms for example, require more current and have more THD% than the same amp running in 2 ohm stereo?

To the OP...no more current.
(2) 2ohm subs on a stereo amplifier will draw the same as those 2 subs wired to 4ohms on the bridged config. The amplifier sees the 2ohms on both channels when bridged this way.
THD is double in bridged mode as it is in stereo mode, but power is double too, so the ratio is the same.
