I think cars that compete in SPL competitions will always do builds like that but for daily drivers, you really don’t see it happening anymore. At least not where I am.

I think it's a fad because is music REALLY that important part of the driving experience? It's more for show, but then again who are you going to show and what for? It's embarrassing.

I don't know why anyone would want a daily driver with all those sub's blowing your ear drums out, I haven't seen any of that around here in PA

I've never seen that on a DD car . . . what's the point when you can already make the neighbors deaf with a pair of 15s and still have a rearview mirror?

No, I don't think cloth seats are dying out.



I wouldn't exactly call having seatbelts a fad either.
