I bought the lift support for the 97 tiburon over at autozone made by mightylift. It looks like it will absolutely work. Only problem I have right now is removing the ball stud bolt from the stock lift support to put in the new one.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get it out?

I thought I remembered seeing a clip around the outside that could pop off of them last time I looked. There's something locking them onto the ball, find what it is and they'll pull off.

This isn't really a DIY thread, it's more of an interior thread.

You have to use a little flat-head screw driver to lift the little clip up. The strut just slides right off the ball.
