I bought a dash kit the other day from Circuit City. Tried to install it, but my cd player won't fit throught it. It's just slightly too big. Anyone had this problem? Think I might be able to mod the surrounding to make it fit?

if you have an 01 tib they don't make any working dash kits...you just have to screw it in using the stock deck brackets...its really easy and actually better i think cause it makes it harder to steal cause theives can't just rip it out they actually have to take that extra time to unscrew it. giving them more time to be caught fyou_hap

 

well, my friend and i just used the cage for the H/u and used a dremmel tool to sand down enough space for it to slide in.

works good for me.
