Default Cute Dinging Noise

Ok, I believe all Hyundais are like this, but I have a Tibby to be specific, and I don't like that little "dinging" noise everytime I open up the doors. Is there a way to turn that noise off, maybe by cutting a wire or something simple like that? It just makes my car too "cute" and I don't want that.... I want it to be cooooool

I just wish it would "ding" when I leave my headlights on, in addition to "dinging" when the door is open and the key is in the ignition.

i got rid off that damn thing to, but i did it a different way. first i unscrewed the little rubber thing in the door jam and then put plastic wrap around the screw and put it back in, the dinging stoped. i also get the seatbelt ding, maybe i can take apart the seatbelt and tear the wires out. wink.gif

I just took that piece off then took the button piece and unplugged it from the wires and then put it back on. No more dinging.

You mean the overhead light? I had mine off when I open the doors anyways.
