Im still waiting on the type of paper i need, but im trying to hone my skills with these gauges. heres a cool design i came up with. anyone got any samples they want to me to try, post up some details and ill see what i can do. remember, im a photoshop newbie so dont make it to complicated.

you should make some custom EL gauges for us chris. that'd be sweet.

BUT I'm happy w/ my AOS ones.....so I prolly wouldnt be buying any. But it'd still be nice to have some more options especially if you can add some special options to em.

Now i would buy a set if you could make them look stock, but have the logo from the old site on them. and light up a dark blue and red.

 

eh, el gauges would be a pain. maybe after i get these down, then ill give em a try.

What are u using to print/cut? plotter or a regular color printer? Vynal <could> work... not sure about a transparency type sheet and a color printer... I think that would have light bleed...

 

yeah, im using transparency paper.

you have to set the thing into two layers. one will have all black and whatever color numbers. the other layer will have whatever color the gauge faces will be. if the black on the transparency doesnt block the light enough, ill stick a peice of photopaper on the back too.

Tibb01, beyond a shadow of a doubt if you plan on making custom guages you should really ad something so it is obviously custom. Think of the Shark logo on the Team SR/Shark Racing guages. Why not ad some kind of shark outline or tiburon outline? And make it light up along with the MPH numbers. Maybe something like this:
