I don't know as much about audio as some of you guys, so I have a question, what "order" do I buy things in? Like first would I get new speakers or a deck or what? Any info would help, Thanks! smile.gif smile.gif

Deck -> upgrade factory speakers -> amps for new cabin speakers -> amp/subs -> sound deaden -> capacitor or new battery or new alternator (most peeps usually just get the cap and battery) -> crossover/EQ

You can go anyway you want on this. Just try and stick to this basic sequence. Also, sound deadening isn't really that important, as long as you don't have alot of rattle or if you don't plan on competing. And finally...you don't really have to get an amp for your cabin speakers. Most people usually run their cabin speakers off their head unit, and then get a single amp for their subs. Just depends on how crazy and loud you want to get. Good luck!

I bought the speakers and amps first. The stock headunit isn't THAT bad.

I'll get a head unit..when I can find one that will work with MP3, and run a CD changer and a MD changer. Till then, I'll stick with my stock unit.

I burn MY MP3's to MD, and use the CD Changer for regular CD's, but most of my friends burn the MP3's to CD's. Those CD's won't work in the changer, so they need to work in the main desk. Besides, 99% of the time, it will just be a single CD that has mp3's burned to it that a friend has.
