I just removed my stock faces for my AOS one's and now when I set the cluster back in place and turn the key to the ON position the needles jump up to 44 and the RPM needle goes up as well as the coolant one. When I turn the key off they go back down. What happened? Did I screw up my cluster?

you need to do a needle calibration.

1.pull them off
2.Start vehical.
3.drive to the store and fill up on gas, place fuel needle on full
4.when car is warm, place tach needle on normal Idle RPM, and coolant needle at it's normal position
-or get a multimeter with a frequency clamp and set your RPM by clamping both spark plug wires 1 and 2 at the same time
5.drive past one of those "your speed is" signs with cruise control set and place the needle at the detected speed
-or drive behind a friend with a cell phone and have him tell you your speed.
-or hit a shop that can certify your speed
