as far as your problem, it would have been TONS easier and quicker to just disconnect everything. remember that in the future. even with the pressure hoses, there is a spot down the line to seperate them.

you could have still messed up the heater cable doing this, because that is easily the thing that is the most "slack restricting". id even say it would be pretty hard to get a screwdriver behind there without disconnecting it.

you are testing the heater dial with it in the exact spot it is when everything is back together, correct? if its just hanging there, ande you try it, it probably wont work right.

as i said, make sure to check that spot down by the gas pedal. here i searched for you for a picture. check this post.

Default door panel removal?

hey tibby so if that white piece moves its basically still working correct? If it is broken... i would need a dealer to fix it right? that must be expensive, huh?

move that peice down by the pedal and see if the air turns from hot to cold.

you could prolly jack a peice of a junkyard tib if you need a new one.
