Can you connect your smart phones, like the Droid RAZR, Galaxy S3, iPhone to the USB port on your Head Unit, and use the phone as an MP3 player? Im looking at a new one but it doesnt say anything in the specs about being able to connect a phone to the front USB port. Only talks about regular USB drives.

 

from my experience itll charge but wont play music from a cell phone

S3 can be changed in setting to be used as storage usb device when connected. My headunit can read files from my S3 inc music
