I have an incar dvd player and currently the audio to it is played through the screen speakers. ( it has 2 little speakers on the side ) and the sound quality is too great and I want to start playing mp3's on it. I'm curious if there is a way to connect it to my deck or to the speakers some how.

These are the connections I have on the back o fthe dvd :

Dolby Digital Coaxial
Av/audio Output
Av/audio Input

I'm brain stumped with this.

Also on another note, I took my steering wheel off and I disconnected the Air bag plug. When I put my steering wheel back on and the air bag plug, the air bag light came on. I don't understand why I didn't play with it or anything just unpluged and plugged it back in. How do I shut it off?

What kind of dvd player is it? By letting us know we might be able to help you better.

With that outputs that you have mentioned, your dvd player is unpowered, it looks like you need an audio amplifier.

Take the DVD player audio out RCA's (i'm guessing RED and WHITE) into the amp input, then from the amp into your car speakers. This maybe quite a bit of work.

As for your airbags, you gotta take it to the dealers to get it reset for a fee, which im not sure, it wont be much though. Next time you fiddle around your dash, steering wheel or airbags, make sure you disconnect the battery.

Hey I remember you had that alarm install thread awhile back, did you finish it? Did you get your keyless entry done?

sometimes i wonder if you read any of the site at all tanc. nana.gif

you HAVE to go to the dealer to get the airbag light removed.

does your deck have an auxiliary input? if so, plug it into that. if not, you will have to buy an external amp for it.

I thought the airbag light would only come on if you had your keys in the ignition and turned to accessory? Or is that only for when you remove the gauge cluster. . .
