Default Re: Interior Paint Ideas *update pic*

Last year I was given a Viper Alarm system through Future Shop. To make a long story short, the idiots at this particular Future Shop messed up my car good, burning stuff and everything. After I got it back I was disapointed about the fact that my parking lights didn't flash when I armed and disarmed. I just noticed the other day that my dash lights flash instead! I told you it was a mess. So this raises three questions from me.

1. Does anyone know where this guy connected to my dash lights?

2. And, where can I connect to the parking lights?

3. Is it even possible to do question #2?

Any links would be great to. thanks.

this is odd, they must have tapped into the interior illuminations wire, instead of the wire up on the haedlight switch. check your manual, figure out which wire is the illuminations output, and follow it from the alarm brain to where they connected it.

btw, canadianshark, did you ever figure out yours?

There is two wires that have to be tapped to flash the parking lights(which will also flash the gauge lights). They probably just tapped one of them to be causing your only your gauges to flash. To find the connection the shop made, check the dimmer switch first. One of the wires that have to be tapped is a green wire with a white stripe at the switch harness. The second wire is in the wiring for the light switch itself (steering column). Its been about two years ago that I installed mine so, I can't remember the color of the light switch wire. I wanna say that its pink, it may even be green/white also. If niether of those are the correct wire let me know and I'll pull my column off and I'll be able to tell you for sure.
If you need any help with it, you can also i.m. me on aol: lawabidncitizen
