Its a good choice of head unit Hootie, my buddy has the same in his Accent, it a good deck with lots of features.

The head unit I have in my Tib is the Alpine CDA-7875. It has a high output amplifier, its good if you don't plan on amplifing your front and rear speakers it provides 60X4 max power or 30 watts X 4 RMS.

The speakers I'm using are coax Alpine SPR's front and rear, very good sound quality for the price.

The Subs I have are 2 12" Alpine Type-R, and being powered by JL Audio 500/1 monoblock class D amplifier. I personally like the JL amps because of the compact size, easy connections, you don't need spade terminals and stuff to connect the wires to the amp. and the JL's have lots of fine tune adjustments.

I've also looked at other types of amps and I found that Directed (DEI) makes very decent Amps and Speakers. My other buddy with an Accent GT has Directed Studio 5.25 front speakers, 250d class D sub amp, and a 250 2 channel speaker amp it sound pretty good! the subs he is running are 10" rockford punch he, and an Alpine CDA-7876 head unit.

Hey Jaws.

Do me a favor, if you don't mind.

Check www.crutchfield.com when you get a chance. Tell me exactly what I need to purchase. I want to have everything by the time I return to port so I'm gonna order everything online, (EZ PAY option ).

Hit me in e-mail.

192kbps is fine on my computer, but for some reason, it doesn't cut it in my car. The JVC does look pretty cool. The Z828 matches the 2nd gen interior perfectly, it's uncanny. The gray paint is exactly the same.

I thought you had a big list of performance mods you listed on fxtreme? You still going ahead with those?

I do plan on hooking my Tiburon up. Wheels and suspension first. Everything else will come eventually. I'm still hoping the Minoks Kit is still available when I return to Hawaii. Someone there has the kit in storage. I just need to pay Sam for it.

Member #90 or #782.

Whichever has the time to hook me up. A thousand blessing upon the JAWS that gives it up.

Ok Hootie here ya go
Go to www.crutchfeild.com click on Installation and then amplifier installation, then click on power distribution kits go down a tad a buy the RF RP1733 ($129.95) dual amp wiring kit this will give you all the power and ground wire you will need for two amps. Now go back to the installation page and scroll down to sterio patch cables once your on that page scroll down to you see Street Wires Zero Noise 2.0 16 ft cables you will want 3 of these ($43.95 a peice) to for high level input for the amp that will run the highs and one set for the amp that runs your sub(s) now that is it for the wiring.
Now go to car speakers and subwoofers. go to 6 1/2 components scroll down to you see Polk ex2560 (199.95) for your fronts now go to 6x9's for the rear scroll down till you see Pole ex693a (139.95) if you want go to installation and pick up the foam baffles for each it will enhance the sound big time they are in the installation page. Now for the amps click on car audio and then go to your right and click on 2 channel amplifiers scroll down till you see Rockford Fosgate Punch 800.2 (449.95) go back to the same page you were on to click on the 2 channel amplifiers this time click on the multi channel amps scroll down till you see Rockford Fosgate 400.4 (269.95). As you will see not all of my recomendations are avalible threw Crutchfeild but I hooked you up with comparable peices I had this same setup and one time speakers and all and it sounded great I would also recommend you get a cap to stiffen your power supply. And there you go your all set have a blast shopping .
