No, on the Ichibans, you either push a button, probably the carbon looking thing in the middle, or you twist the top to turn it on and off.

 

It has a button on the top, under the CF insert, When you press it once, it flashes in rotation around the bulbs. Press it agin, and all the lights flash on/off. Press it a third time and the lights come on constantly, press it 4th time and it turns off...
Like I said, Pure rice but it is fun and I like it smile.gif
