Default WTB Alloy wheel[s]

I didn't buy the kit from summit hoping I could do it myself, cheaper. This would be possible if I could get the wire inexpensivly enough. They want 1.98 per/foot for 2 gauge at Advanced auto parts. Does anybody know where I could get it cheaper?

Also does anybody know about how much is good to buy [maybe 20ft is over kill]

Thanks --Steve

just remember.. there is a difference between cheap wire and expensive...

Also, both of my italian cars have their batteries in the trunk stock.. the spider's is in the rear bolted to the firewall.. and the lancia has it's up behind the passenger side headlight.. either way, there is a LOT of cable running between the battery and the starter.. I not only suggest a good quality cable, but a good gage as well. A freezing cold morning is NOT a good time to learn that you have too much voltage drop.

LOL, I am working on the same thing right now. I am going to talk to a local speed shop owner this week...he has all of his in the trunk and ask him what is best (practice and money).
I have had a couple of guys suggest using heavy duty jumper cable wires and that sounds pretty good since that is what it is made for. I will let you know what I find out though. You will more than likely need a distribution block to ground the pre-existing grounds up front too though.

89 - I can sell you the cables from the Summit kit if you want. I bought the kit but decided not to do it, and sold the kit on ebay. Unfortunately the box got smashed in the mail, so now I have the cables left over. I'll sell them to you for $25 shipped, including the battery terminals and ring terminals. PM me if you're interested.

Maxxtib, can you post some pictures of your setup? I'm a little confused, I don't know what to do with negative wire that's connected to the battery right now. It give ground to couple of things inside of the engine bay, and I don't know weather or not I should ground this cable?
