I've got a 7" in-dash DVD player with the back up cam (One of the night vision ones cool.gif ). The obvious place for it is on the rear bumper, but that just seems a little too boring and useless for me.
I'm thinking I want to either put it low on the front bumper, or in the dash facing the passenger seat. Although just as useless I think it could prove to be a little more fun.
I'm leaning towards the front bumper but I'm afraid of dirt ang road grime messing up the lens.
Let me know what you think of my ideas, or please feel free to suggest you own.
I'm especially interested in [you]'s opinion!

If you could get it to record and the quality is decent hooking it up in front would be cool for making videos. smile.gif
If it was me I would just put it on the rear license plate frame or something.

I wouldn't put it in the front of the car, it would just get messed up. I would go with either inside of the car facing out, if you wanted to recorded some vids.
Besides that, I'm not a fan of backup cams, I can look over my shoulder and see behind me.
Why you especially interested in my opinion?

I hadn't even thought of recording I'm gonna have to look into that. I've realized I could put a spot of clear plexiglass in the front of the lens (flush with the bumper) that way it'll still appear close to the ground on the screen.
It's not just your opinion, I used that code that says the name of whoever is reading it (I figure stroking egos may get a few more opinions).
