mourningstar, so your saying you left it in overdrive also or did you rewire it to another type of switch?

a manual one or auto?
Is there a button you push on top?
Or do you push the whole knob down to change gears?
Lastly, how'd you get the boot to stay put since your car wasn't intended to have the boot there?

 

Morning Stars shift knob is an automatic shift knob with a push button feature. Im looking to get this one or a Razo Gun grip with the over drive button.

 

The MOMO

 

It's the Momo automatic shift knob.
I push the entire knob down to change gears, not just the top.

The boot is held in place because I stretched it around the original shifter plate.

 

So Morningstar how the hell do i remove the stock shifter. You Got Mail.

 

Mourningstar, could you post the site where you bought your shifter? And could post your How-to, I think I'm going to try to do this mod again, after I failed miserably last time poke suicide

FYI, you'll either lose your OD (if you have it) or it'll be backwards since there are no aftermarket 3 wire A/T knobs.

 

O/D is always going to have to be on or off, there is no way that you will be able to use the button if you get the Razo, trust me!!
