I have 4 12" as part of my surround sound in my house If you seen MTV Cribs where Tommy Lee had that big like thing on the floor with subs under it so you can feel the stuff in our like den we have someting likethat with 2 8"'s. Its pretty hot on loud movies

Hey Low, well my buddy put that garbage in his Subaru SVX. I laughed at him all the time. That is all they do is just sit there and shake!! No noise and buzzin. It actually has a motor that spins like an over-sized pager vibrator. They do need amplified, with about 25 watts each. But that would work great for your home theater, and work quite well!

Oh yeah and one other thing, we did try and install them under a car seat, and they are just a little too big for under the seats. Unless you can find lower profile shakers, when you sit in the seat, your springs in the seat end up resting on the seat and your ass does go numb from all that shakin!!! Weird, but if that is what you want, GO FOR IT!
