audiobahns blow easy, i would go with a custom made sub like my old one. Now im rockin the Dayton audio titanic 12". it looks like a wallmart sub............but ohhh no, its much more.

i like alpine, and my system happy brother likes alpine, so go there.

I would also recommend RE audio, they are much more expensive now, but well worth it.

Yes Audiobahn decks are junk, Clarion decks on the other hand fing02.gif

Yes as I mentioned in the original reply you are paying for the show quality of it. Though I would not say they are WAY OVER PRICED, when in the marked for around 2k rms mono and 1ohm stable your looking @500+ for a decent quality amp regardless.

yeah, like i said my brother is the "system man". he currently has a 1,300 WATT RMS 15" with 0 gauge wiring..... not sure how big the amp is tho. he makes his own boxes and such.

if you don't decide to go custom, stay off mainstream....... RE audio was the unda undaground when my uncle got his 12s (two 1,200watt RMS subs). so he got them for cheap.

just look for quality name, not just brand name. I mean honduhh ppl got the civic appose to the tib, their mistake smile.gif

Yes Clarion decks by far in my experience the best decks. Not sure on model # installed currently but I can tell you that it has a Hard Drive built into the deck, and allows me to upload CD's on it. Soo awsome!

Yep audio equipment can become very pricey laugh.gif

Vouch aswell Really wanna see that custom built sub tongue.gif

i have the alpine touch panel hu in my rd2 and a different model in my rd1. dont remmeber the model numbers off hand. id go with alpine for the head unit. as far as audiobahn goes they are affordable for what they are and they are crazy loud. sure you may be able to find a cheaper comparable amp but the audiobahn looks better and ive never had any problems with any audiobahn stuff i have. and i have amps, speakers, and subs.
