Has anyone here ever heard of the brand "Pyramid" for an amplifier? if so, could you please give me feedback or opinions of it's quality?

YEAH! That reminds me that I have one sitting in my closet that has been there for awhile now. I never used it so I wouldn't know if it was good or not. If you want it you can have it for $25 shipped, cause Im not gonna use it.

your gunna need a big amp for those man, and if she'll get rid of it for $25, then I'm guessing its nothing too special. are they 600w peak or rms?
if it's big enough for you man, its all yours. otherwise i might have to take her up on it. 2nd dibs til i see some specs smile.gif

600 W is the max power.
I ask because I was looking at this amp on E-bay and wondering if it was any good. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWA:IT

you should look up the rms on those guys. id guess its around 300w tho. and for comparison (and correct me if im wrong guys) but a 900w amp puts out about 170w rms per channel... at least from what Ive seen. so ud probably want bigger than that

Well I'm not very good with matching watts and knowing the difference between RMS and max output and all this crazy $h!t people are always mentioning, so would anyone be able to tell me what size amp I should look for to power two 12" subwoofers with 600 W max power?

it really depends how hard you want to push them. a 1200w amp would be able to power them fine, and in fact probably hit pretty hard. but even an amp that big probably wouldnt put them to their full potential. it also depends what subs you got. If your looking for a cheap amp just to run them decently, this pyramid might work, but theres one big thing about it that scares me. I even searched it on google, and i cant find specs on it ANYWHERE besides that its 1200w.... normally they have a pretty big list. If your really looking to stay cheap tho, maybe itll work. Ill look around and post up anything i find
