wow...... that sucks bigtime sad.gif have insurance cover it. if you cannot, then go to a junkyard and replace all necessary parts. it shouldn't be too hard to put back together.

i would say an alarm. and tint the windows. there's really nothing more that you can do, except keep lights on in the night and keep your car in the driveway.

You can get an alarm. It won't keep everyone from breaking in, but it'll convince a lot of thieves to just keep walking. One with a 2-way pager is nice so that you know when it's set off even if you can't hear it.

If you keep your system hidden (either under the parcel shelf or in the trunk if you have one) random passers by won't even know you have a system.

Whatever you do don't put electronics stickers on your car unless it's fully sponsored and locked away in a garage when it's not at shows.

Be careful where you show off. I suggest not blasting music within a few miles of your house. If your car is easily recognizable, that might not even be enough. What you don't want is the wrong people being impressed by your system.

Remember, if a thief wants your stuff bad enough they'll get it. Deterrents are nice, but if someone really wants it there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

I think if I put a system back into my cars I'll weld a steel bracket over everything. It won't keep someone from breaking in, but it'll slow them down enough that I might be able to get out there before they're finished.

My next alarm will come with the siren wire pre-cut and a pager. I'll be the only one that knows it's going off.

Everyone knows neighbors won't call the cops if your car gets broken into

Damn...they smashed BOTH windows in your ride. You must of really pissed someone off to do all that. *lol* Just kidding...sucks though that it happened.

Definitely get a good alarm, park as close to your house as possible, maybe get a motion sensing light (they're cheap from any hardware store...around $10-15), and park your car near it. Dont advertise your system to people by blasting it where alot of people are, no stickers, take your head unit faceplate off if its removable, and hope for the best. About all you can do really.

ya i went the next week and got a alarm installed ut the factory cassette player back in sad.gif got a new dash bezel and insurance did cover everyting they gave me a new system better than what i had..i got a car port at my apartment complex too thats right infront of the building but im just gonna get a bigger speakier on it so that its really loud when it goes off or tie it into my air horn lol
how hard is it to put a headunit into the glove box i know it takes some fabbing up but has anyone done it cause thats what im thinkin about doing just so if someone looks in they dont c it and i was thinkin about tinting the windows but i was told if they r tinted it gives people more of a reason to break in
and the alarm i got is only a one way alarm with driver door actuator put in thats it...but i do have my neighbors on the front side of the building loking at my car everytime they go out to smoke at night cause it happened to them the week before

Get a 2 way pager a loud horn won't do sh*t I've seen cars broken into in broad day light with the alarm blaring and people walk on like its not there business

Ultimately its up to you to protect your property alarms and sh*t like that won't phase most thieves they have heard tons of alarms in there day
