Jeebus that looks good!

How many coats of paint/clear coat need to go on to get that shine? My interior is starting to look ****ty cause the paint is scuffed up something fierce.

That's real exterior automitive paint. Looks like he or a shop got some paint, loaded up a spray gun, and shot it professionally. That's how I did my dash, and Bat Lord did his. VETY shiny...but it sucks on a sunny day! Too bright! *lol*

Personally, I'd leave it alone,...
I like the wraparound feel for the driver.
But here's a pic from a 1st gen,... you decide.

And it looks like he did the hatch trim pieces too,...

I think it's a little much, but remember, it's your car, do what you want.

The passenger side door most people don't do because it is not plastic like the driver's door is. The passenger door is the vinylish leatherish type crap that is on the dash by the glove box and stuff, making it much more difficult to paint, I'm sure.

Personally...by not doing both doors....it gives an unfinished look. Just my 2 cents!

Here is another goofy question that I look for, sure was answered, but can't find: Do you remove the dash outright, paint and re-install, or do you mask off the dash and paint while on the car?

That car with the red interior above taped off his whole interior to do the passenger side air bag pad. Alot of work....but looks great! wink.gif
