With these temperatures I cannot handle no A/C. Today while driving home from work my blower turned off and the AC light went out. I changed the associated fuse and it did not fix the problem. What else should I try?

I just went and looked in there. The relay that is in the center that is marked blower appears to have a burnt spaid on it, smelling it it smells burnt. I guess I found the culprit. Any idea on why it would melt like that?

not really. the fusable link or the fuse in your dash should have gone before that would melt.

Strange.... I just ordered one from Hyundai, hopefully the dealer has it in stock. $12.50 for that thing...

As for it going out, I noticed my fuse in the car had a 30a instead of 10a installed. I guess whoever had my car before didn't know what they were doing.

yeah, that would cause it. i know it would be hard, but you may want to check the wiring too. if the spade terminal on the relay melted, you could have problems with the wire.

you could have gotten that relay at any junkyard for like 50 cents.

Closest junkyard to me is 38 miles one way, $5 or so to get in. Gas prices and gas availability in this area suck... lol
