^^ After looking at the schematics, there's no risk. Do it. Which ever one illuminates the shifter, leave out. The other two will be the controller and your o/d off light will not illuminate again.
That's what I said.
I only had an attitude when people came in asking the same retarded questions over and over. If you read through my posts I've said there's no light twice, and SOCKS came in talking about disregard color codes. I was insulted by a 16 year old who really didn't know what he was talking about, I clarified it's a two wire system. Also, a normal switch is not a 3 wire switch, that's called a SPDT. A SPST switch is the most basic of switches. I'm sorry I pissed people off. I was trying to answer a question while weeding out the BS thrown out there by people who had no clue what they were talking about. The color coding threw a big kink in my train of logic, but 99% of the time the color coding is correct on my car.
Foxxy: you'll be fine, there's no problem touching those three wires.

That's what I said.

dtn, lose the attitude or don't even bother posting anymore. anybody who has spent any amount of time in the mess of wires in a tib knows that going by wire colors is one of the biggest mistakes you could make. i have even seen hyundai use different colors for the illumination wires. get off your damn pedestal and help people when you are NOT menstruating or just keep the fingers away from the keyboard.
