Default Accent CD dask kits

Do they work? Does it make a diff? Anyone have on installed?

I have always had mines installed without one. Its not completly flush with the center consal.

I know Tibs have ISO-DIN stereos so you dont need a kit. I would think that with a kit...it wouldnt make it flush...it would push out a little. So unless your stereo is sunk in some, then a kit might make it a little more flush. Hard to tell though....

i never used one on my LC. just put the factory mounts on the pioneer and adjusted it until it fit. my only complaint is getting the cables to line up again (done it enough times now that the knobs are perfect on the first try)

I did not use a kit on mine. I udjusted it so it stuck out some so I could use the black trim that comes with the new deck. For some reason I remember having to take a file to the opening to enlarge it a bit.
