Hi!

Is there a radio surround available for the rd2 which has 2-DIN slots? I don´t mean a radio surround with a big double-Din slot, i´m looking for a bezel for 2 single 1-DIN headunits!

I already searched for this, but wasn´t able to find a answer.

You didn't search too well my man, while it may not be said here the way you want, no, there isn't a dual single din for us.

There is the dual din, which is the OEM one with the BIG single hole, and there is the SINGLE DIN, which has 1 din hole, and a pocket.

 

thanks for clarifying this for me! has the double din bezel for the rd2 the same rounded edges like the one for the rd1? or are they more angular? maybe you have a pic for me !?

I've heard that some of the European spec tibs had the two single-din openings. Can any of our Dutch members verify they do or do not exist??

 

the rd1 din and double-din is rounded on the outside. the inside cutouts are the same for both generations so you can fit the same radios.

the rd2 din is angular on the outside to match the angles from the gearbox cover to the dashboard. do what everyone's been doing, carve your own!
