10" sub enclosure type / amp enclosure thingy
How loud they will be will depend on the subs, the sub enclosure, and the accoustics of the car.Our Tibs transfer function, I beleive, begins around 65Hz.Which means that the interior of the car will naturally amplify the mid and upper bass.
Do you understand how you will need to wire the 3 subs?

not yet, we're researching that now....i thought of the idea of 3 just last night so u have any ideas?
Edit: also, what type/power of alternator comes stock. and will we have to upgrade for a 1500watt hifonics amp....
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWN:IT . and also ill probably need another battery to run this, correct?
thx for all the help!
EDIT 2: while looking into the box.....we cam across a problem.... we dont know VB stands for in the manual for enclosures..... heres a pic. any ideas?

If you're sure that the amp can handle a 1 ohm load, bridged, and the 3 subs are 4ohms, then you can wire them to each other in parallel. The total impeadance will be approx 1.3ohms.You just wire all 3 (+)'s and 3 (-)'s together. Then take the (+)/(-) of one of those 3 and connect that to the amp.
VB Is actually the system "Q".That tells you roughly how tight or loose the bass will sound in a sealed enclosure.
The factory alt is 90A, 14V.I'm not 100% sure if you'll need an upgraded alt, but you will definetely need at the very least one deep cycle battery. The most powerful system I ever had was about 700Wrms.With an Optima Yellow Top, I was able to jam the system with the engine off for about 30 minutes before the car would either not start or have some difficulty. You most likely will need a secondary battery, and it would be good to use a cap.[/b]

sry redz bout the pic, but it needed to be readable and i didnt know to shrink it and make it readable.
i already got a lightning audio cap, 1 fariet. also i would like u to tell me what u think of an enclosure design,
like have that pointing towards the rear, and the subs angled a little at the bottom u notice the flat edge, ill have an amp thingy that will go at the gbase and take up that space
EDIT: WTF happened to image linking! 02.gif

I think Madtib is wrong. Vb is the volume of the box (in cubic feet), Vd is the diameter of the vent, and Vl is the length of the vent.
I have a Hifonics Brutus 1000W amp, along with a 70x2W amp for my front speakers, and I have no dimming problems at all. I don't think you would need an extra battery, unless you really like playing your system with the car off.

but mad can u check out the designs for the enclosure and tell me how u think it will react in a tib. i dont know what angling up will do but it was the idea i had....
i want to know the difference between having them at an angle or having them facing straight upwords like in the tib with 4 jl subs
hehe, i forgot....photobucket doesn like bit format
here we goo......
