I installed my alpine alarm last year. I was never able to find the wire that operates the parking lights. Today I was looking again for the wire. I had one side flashing, then the other side, but I can't find the wire that will flash all parking lights. I tried almost every green/white wire under the dash and all the red wires in the steering column trying to get them to work. still not working. here is what i have found so far:

PARKING LIGHTS +|green/white | |gray 20 pin plug, pin 11 *2 |
*2 The plug is below the cross member beam under the driver side dash.

and

PARKING LIGHTS -|red | |steering column

I hope that someone can look under their dash and tell me where they hooked up that wire, it is really pissing me off now.

thanks guys.

Default Done! Brakes fixed!

so you're just looking for the wire that your alarm will ground when you press the button right, and then turn on all the lights correct?

i just looked on webtech, and the wire that operates the tailamp relay(threough the multifunction switch) is a red/black wire coming off the multi switch. when youre alarm grounds that, your lights will flash.

ok, this is what you gotta do. that wire is actually a + wire, so you have to buy a relay. this will do fine...

look at the numbers here, and then read what i write.
http://suvlights.tripod.com/suvlightscom/h...-boschrelay.htm

tap into the wire i listed in my first post. the red/black one. connect that to terminal 87a. connect terminal 30 to ground. connect the parking light output on your alarm to terminal 86, and terminal 85 to ground.

Finally got a warm day here so I had time to play with this.

The whole time I was trying to find a wire that would turn on the parking lights when hooked up to a positive 12v feed. Didn't find one, so I went back I started to read the install manual over and found that there's a negative parking light output.

What you'll need to do is hook up the (-) light output on your alarm to the (-) parking light wire, this will be the red/black wired located at the headlight switch.

Good luck and have fun.
