HKC, I had my AEM on all last winter w/ 0 problems. and its not like you in SS get hit that much harder than Rockville. There were a couple of days when i didnt drive it.....but that was more b/c of the streets still being covered than ANY lack of driver confidence in foul weather.

Hehe, my yellow low (and highbeams) actually helped me out a couple times getting home from work during some really (at least for here) heavy snowfall. Its so nice to be able to turn on your high beams and see 4-5 times farther than the guy next to you. :-)

The best colors (If they were legal) for winter sleet/snow drving would ideally be green (Human eyes are much more sensitive to green than any other part of the visible spectrum) or red (longer wavelengths will go further thru snow).

Default auto tranny problems?

If that's all ya go, that's all ya got.

Make sure to give it a good wax before storing it and you should be fine.
If you have a buddy that can rent out or even give you some garage space, that would be best.

Default Re: 2004 ABQ BBQ - Who's Coming? (ABQ = Albuquerque New Mexi

thanks guys, for the answers and the responses. it's because i want to do put everything on this month. (rotors, brake lines, paint/decals, CAI, f2 bumper) i planned this October to be the month that i do this and as you kno it (let football reminds you) that it is that time of year again.

as for the storage, man, my car has endured such harsh conditions it's not even funy. i've rallied it in the snow last winter (i know it was careless) but i had to know the limits of the good old tib. you hear it from me, there's so much loss of traction toward the back end of the car because the front is so heavy. do you remember, tibwrcsbj and new england, last year's snow? it was like two feet of snow that lasted for one week! that was fun... and i agree that there was so much snow, it was not possible for anybody to take their car out. even SUV's were getting stuck.

...well, now i just have to wait for the bumper to ship. i will have pictures galore posted somewhere near halloween when everything is installed/painted. it should look real nice.

thanks a lot! i really appreciate it! as you can tell, all these mods were supposed to be finished this summer, however, due to inexperience, contacts, multiple rounds to the post office, and $1997.00 (yes, i did the math correctly) later, here i am. lol.

tibwrcsbj, those yellow lights must be neat! do you have any pictures? it would be cool to have red lights but that totally violates every law in the book lol. you know, those blue lights aren't as good as i thought they would be, but they do reflect everythinga lot better, look really nice, and give off a blue tint from a distance. i'm very happy with those. for some reason, people want to race me now because the lights make my car seem like i have something under the hood. lol. tongue.gif

kayjai, what are WAI's? I agree to give your car a good ol' meguiars wax. it will last for months and protect your car. just be sure not to leave any swirly marks

Default Wanna see some cops being OWNED? (Well up until the end...)

Two winters in my tib bno problems, I'm storing it this year somewhere 02.gif I might also suggest to put something in the car to make it smell a little nicer, it could possibly get kinda musty in there over 6 months or so.
