Ya it does.. As of now my car is sitting in front of my apt with the passenger window down. I have taken everything of value out of it, and ghetto rigged it...Covered the passenger side window with a garbage bag. I'm hoping no1 gets ansy and steals my car or anything in it.(audio). I'm hoping i have the time tomorrow to drive it down to the dealership. I'll post what the dealership says the problem is when i find out.
sounds like a window regulator to me. ive replace 4 over the last 9 months (1 on my tib cuz i screwed it up, and 3 on my elantra)
should be covered depending on when you bought the car in 2000 (bumper to bumper 5 year/60k), if your the original owner, if not check the junkyards for the regulator, any rd will work, but the newer the better

Yup, sounds like the window Regulator
Sounds like the motor is working, but cables that hold her up are all Fawked up.
But it usually comes as one, that's why it so hella expensive.

It's warrantied up to 60k miles, has happened to me twice already. It's hella expensive if it's not under warranty, I have extended coverage warranty, and they charged the warranty company $550 to replace both window regulators after my $60 deductable.
I've had the same thing just happen to me. I contacted a hyundai dealership and they said they would replace it for $329.00 plus + $41.00 to determine if it was the window regulator. If I could find the parts I'd do it myself but its proving to be quite a task.
