It would not necessarilly effect your speaker outputs if your RCA was blown. You could possibly have a separate staged amplifier just for the RCA outputs aside from the standard line level outputs.
It's also possible that you could have crunched and broken your RCAs from the deck somewhere you havn't checked, or even smacked them and damaged the connector to which they plug in.

Nah.. nothing in my car is ever dropped or manhandled... All my wires have salck enough to move a little, but not to get snagged. And like I said, if my RCA's get cut, so does all the wiring in my tib. It is all wires through the wire paths on the side of the car. I have one of those cables plugged into my comp right now DTN. I will try it out tomorrow.

When I say crunched, i mean like under your floorboard below the door, or under the carpet somewhere. It's possible that the RCAs are damaged somewhere you'd least expect it.

wow man, i'm telling you that you need to run a spare set of NEW rca wires to the amps. your "mosfet" amps have nothing to do with the fact that your rca's could be burned up.most all sound related issues typically come back to the rca's or wiring problems. you should check it
DTN my RCA's get crunched all the time from my not running a big enough hole thru the floor board, and i swear that my subs will cut in and out if you dont mess with the wiring.
