Default Whirring sound while driving

Hi. I have a 2000 Tiburon I bought new. 65,000 miles. Lately I have been hearing a fairly loud whirring or whining sound, only when driving. It starts fairly low-pitched but increases as I speed up. It is directly related to road speed, the faster I go the higher the pitch. It does it constantly when driving.

It sounds like it's coming from the right-rear of the car. To me it really sounds like a bad tire, or a rubber on road sound, but I've replaced all tires and it's still there. My father is quite car savvy (but lives far away) and he said it sounds like maybe the differential or the wheel bearings. I really think it's coming from the back, and this is front wheel drive (isn't it?) so I guess that would eliminate differential.

Just curious if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks!

Additional info: within the last few months I've replaced the timing belt, alternator and rear breaks. The noise was there prior to any of this service.

Edit: just to add, it doesn't affect the feel or performance, and makes no difference if turning or not. Also, the faster I go the more noticeable the sound is. Below say, 25-30 mph I can't hear it. Around 50-60 mph it's pretty loud. (Obviously I don't do much turning at 60 mph)

most likely wheel bearing or pads rubbing the rotor.

also, if you turn off your flux capacitor you should notice all whirring sounds will go away..

The "Check Flux Capacitor" dash light did come on, so I'll check that too.
