This car (a friend of mine drives it) I saw today took off from a red light and water gushed from the exhaust pipe? What causes this?
My dumbass neighbor told me that it is from water in the gasoline mixture... that just doesnt sounds right at all...
Could someone please clear this up for me?

I think almost all newer cars do it, I'd like to know the reason why myself. When I was welding the exhaust on the Tib with the car on to see where it was leaking, I had a somewhat steady drip on my face.
My guess, either condensation, or maybe when the catalytic convertor absorbs some CO2/etc. a byproduct is water.

im pretty sure the condensation can actually wreck the muffler. it could just be on aftermarket ones though. a lot of them come with a hole to let all the water out not allowing it to go back into the muffler
